A separator insert is the heart of every urine-diverting toilet, as it ensures the separation of solid and liquid waste. Thanks to years of experience and testing, we have been able to develop a separator that is designed not only to separate urine and faeces completely, but also to offer the highest level of comfort, flexibility and hygiene in addition to its separation mechanism. A urine-diverting toilet with Trobolo separating toilet insert works in exactly the same way as a conventional toilet. Inside the toilet, however, urine and faeces are separated from each other. The urine is collected in the front area and drained into a separate liquid container, an external container outside the toilet or separately into the sewage system via a pipe. The faeces, on the other hand, passes through the rear part of the separator into a solids container. The separator is designed to meet the different anatomical requirements of all toilet users, while ensuring clean and reliable separation of excreta at all times.
