Green Power AGM batteries were specially developed as service batteries. They combine good cycle stability, low self-discharge, high energy density and good cold start capability. That is why AGM batteries are now also used by some car manufacturers as starter batteries. It is recommended to set the capacity about 20% higher than with starter batteries in order to generate the same maximum starting current.
